Refuge & Privacy
NOOK MAMA consists of two carefully designed parts. The first part is a practically designed changing table with a cover made of high-quality, durable leatherette. This ensures easy maintenance and, above all, hygienic cleanliness. In addition, the illuminated shelf under the counter will help you quickly find everything you need and not forget anything when you leave.

Freedom & Mobility
Perhaps every mother knows situations when she had to plan and calculate the duration of breastfeeding. Like whether she can take her baby along to run errands, withing being too rushed, and quickly get back home to feed her infant. In this situation, some mothers just prefer to hire a babysitter, or postpone their plan altogether. But does it really have to be that way? With NOOK MAMA, we want to give moms freedom. In decision-making, planning and possibilities. We believe motherhood doesn’t have to mean giving up their social life, interests or separating them from other duties. Breastfeeding mothers should not feel restricted, whether they are shopping, visiting a friend, seeing the doctor or enjoying a museum exhibition.

Harmony & Respect
Motherhood is a bond, intimacy and, above all, the interconnection of mother and child. The harmony and accord of the two are the key to all that happy motherhood entails. A calm mother means a calm baby. Therefore, breastfeeding or caring for a child in public should not be stressful for either of them. Society's respect for mothers, their decisions in caring for their child and, above all, motherhood as such, are the bricks forming the path we are creating with NOOK MAMA.

Design & Comfort
Thanks to the thoughtful design of NOOK MAMA, we’ve got you covered. The two-piece assembly of the breastfeeding chair and changing box offers several ways to configure, adapting to the possibilities of the space itself. This way, a more or less closed space can be created for breastfeeding and diaper changing, but where the mother will not be excluded from what is going on.
The optimally high walls of the changing box and the breastfeeding chair guarantee stability and discretion. Mom and baby have a moment just for themselves and in a busy public space, such as a hotel lobby, waiting rooms at the doctor, children's play corners and many other places.

Structure, stability and materials under scrutiny
The first mentioned standard applies to "Child use and care articles - changing units for domestic use" and although NOOK MAMA is primarily intended for public spaces, this standard also applies to it. Therefore, design conditions are inspected, such as the changing area dimensions or the minimum height of the barriers around the changing table. The generous area of the changing table and the height of the surrounding walls far exceed the dimensions required to meet the standard.
The second of the standards, EN 71-3+A1, provides for inspecting the materials used and their health safety. Particularly rigorous inspection checks for heavy metals and other potentially harmful substances.

Studio Archetypo is solving a social problem that gets more attention abroad than in our country. We are glad that the Tomas Bata Regional Hospital was the first place to offer mothers with children the modern changing and breastfeeding box NOOK MAMA. We placed it directly in the waiting room of the clinic for high-risk newborns and infants.
For our shopping center in Letná, we were looking for a suitable but smartly designed breastfeeding box to enhance the comfort of our customers, a challenge that Archetypo handled superbly. The box is not only highly representative in quality design, but also functional, and customer feedback so far has been highly positive. Despite our initial concern, the material is actually easy to keep clean, even in a light shade. Cooperation with the company was also exceptional and we highly recommend it.
NOOK MAMA box for nursing mothers is a great benefit for our department. Mothers are comfortably and discreetly breastfeeding here and changing their baby’s diaper. The box provides us with privacy for moms, this benefit was surely lacking. NOOK MAMA box is widely used and already has a good reputation.
Reconciling personal and professional life is a key topic. One of our start-ups Studio Archetypo with the product line NOOK MAMA decided to accept social responsibility for improving the working conditions of mothers with infants and toddlers. We have one of the installations directly in our business incubator, and others can be found in hospitals, banks and other public places throughout the Czech Republic. The product is distinguished not only by its unique design, but also by its clever construction for ease of handling, and top-notch materials - all these are part of the so-called domains of specialization of the Zlín Region, in which we are achieving international excellence.
